Your Child's First Visit

What To Expect

Your child will be in good hands with Dr. Condit and Dr. Vollmar. If your child is anxious about sitting in the dental chair, we may have a few tricks up our sleeve. With years of experience, we have seen it all! Not only will they check for any problems with their teeth, but they will also assess their bite and look for any potential gum, jaw, or oral tissue problems. If necessary, our team will take x-rays and clean your child's teeth while also determining if they need fluoride.

We know how important it is to have questions answered and to feel confident in your child's oral health. Most importantly, we want your kiddo to have a happy, healthy smile for years to come.

Office Policies

It Makes It Easier For Everyone.

  • Appointments

At Grand River Pediatric Dentistry, we believe that children do better when they are well-rested. Our office hours reflect this belief, as our goal is to provide treatment that is as pleasant as possible for your child. We encourage morning appointments, especially for those who are preschool-aged or very nervous. Although dental appointments are often during school hours, we are able to provide a written excuse for their absence.

When we schedule an appointment, that time is reserved solely for your child. We ask that you arrive a few minutes early for your appointment and we make every attempt to see your child on time.  If you must cancel an appointment, we require 24-hour notice.

  • Financial

Payment for treatment is due at the time of service. We do accept most dental insurances and our team will work with you and your insurance carrier to get the benefits your child is entitled to. For your convenience, we also accept payment by cash, check, or credit card.
